3. Installing Essentials of IP on Windows
a. Insert the CD-ROM into the CD Drive
b. Go to My Computer and find the CD Drive. Double-click on the START.html.
c. ESSENTIALS OF INTERACTIVE PHYSIOLOGY MAY NOT BE INSTALLED ON A NETWORK.

4. Installing Essentials of IP on Macintosh
a. Insert the CD-ROM into the CD Drive.
b. An Essentials of IP icon appears on your desktop.
c. Double-click the Essentials of IP icon.
d. In the Essentials of IP window, double-click START.html to start the program.
e. ESSENTIALS OF IP MAY NOT BE INSTALLED ON A NETWORK.

7. Troubleshooting
Q. When I go to a topic page nothing appears on the right-hand side of the screen. All I see is a broken link icon.
A. You do not have Shockwave installed correctly. Run the installer over again and then go to the troubleshooting page to see if the plug-in is working. If the problem persists, go to http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download and download the most current Shockwave Player.
